there is a problem....try to change this

    Quote"""

hi guys,I try this mod and it's great.
Anyway the breakes are poor so I try to find a solution in hdv file so i see this

    Quote:
BrakeOptimumTemp=450.0 // optimum brake temperature in Celsius
BrakeFadeRange=50.0 // temperature outside of optimum that brake grip drops to half (too hot or too cold) ..

and i compare this with nascar car

    Quote:
BrakeOptimumTemp=250.0 // optimum brake temperature in Celsius (peak brake grip)
BrakeFadeRange=650.0 // temperature outside of optimum that brake grip drops to half (too hot or too cold)

Grand slam car use steel brakes (i find it in Grand american rules) like nascar.
So you can see that brakefaderange it's too little compared with nascar, and I try to change the value: BrakeoptimumTemp=250 and FadeRange=650.
With this value you have a more friendly breakes.
Tell me if this is a wrong way to solve the problem.

    Quote""""

so brakefaderange should be 500.0 not 50.0 Smile

Hey everyone! Just my 2 cents on this one.

I have done some setup-tweeking and I'm happy with it now. But I also think it's ok that the brakes are not that powerful. Anyway thats what I did:

    Try this:

And my usual steering-setting is 13° but as you can see I added a 17° instead. So change your setting according to that. I welcome every feedback...

Maybe you change the brakeductsize to 1 or 2 according to the track-conditions...

    @Flaux

Used your setup, its better but not comfortable (even when changing brake duct sizes)
Dont believe that these cars break like that in real life Rolling Eyes

I watch the laguna seca videos and compare what we have and those guys has really good breaks. They break much later then me but somehow turning the corners properly. This method sounds rubbish but just saying. Razz

After some laps I can adapt me to the "break problem" Razz
For now what pisses me off the most is the super fast AI What a Face
I know that Im not a great driver but I think that the AI cars are too fast Evil or Very Mad
This mod needs a patch, period! Smile
