They should never have even dreampt of starting the season in Bahrain! It has produced the most consistently dull races for past six years, there was no way on this Earth that it was going to do any other than get the season off with a whimper rather than a bang.

Live and learn ... however F1 doesn't have a track record for learning particularly quickly. Wink

I must say that race in melbourne was far more interesting then in bahrein.
First lap compliation between Alonso and Button, Schumacher damage his car front wing, Kubica made fantasic jump into 3rd. Kobayashi rammed into Buemi, better he slide into Buemis Toro Rosso, because front wing drop.
Alonsos moves and passes with other competitions. Buttons brave move switching intermediat tyre to soft. Vettels unluck with brakes again. Hamilton fast laps and battle with Alonso, what ended with contact with Webber, I asume that Webber had problems with brakes. And especially I would like to see battle between Schumacher and Alguesuari, that would be nice to see, the legend and rookie.

Hope to see good and fantastic race in Sepang next week.

Bernie Ecclestone has used his Web site to announce that a United States Grand Prix will be held in Austin, Texas, from 2012 to 2021. It will be the first F1 event held in the United States since the 2007 U.S. Grand Prix in Indianapolis.
The news comes just days after the Monticello Motor Club in New York told the media that it was pitching for a race.
The Austin event will be promoted by Full Throttle Productions, a company with an involvement in NASCAR. A new facility will be built for the race in what is the 15-largest city in the United States.
The company's managing partner, Tavo Hellmund, said in the statement: “We are extremely honored and proud to reach an agreement with the F1 Commercial Rights holder. We have been diligently working together for several years to...

    Result! :party

I think you should take it upon yourself to oversee the construction of the track, just to make sure they don't build another Bahrain, Singapore or Abu Dhabi.

We're all counting on you amigo

    Me too... Cool

Was a crazy move though... seems like it was more Vettel`s fault than Webber`s going by the footage.

Sebastian seems to lack any respect for himself or his teammate.

McLaren is my team too (Button more than Hamilton), so was pleased they finished 1st and second. Jenson's bought a house over here on our island, I know roughly where it is, but not sure which one yet Laughing Laughing Laughing

The speed of the McLaren hopefully means it will be a rocket ship in Montreal.

The Webber/ Vettel crash was not that much of a surprise, something has been brewing for the past few races, and something was going to happen at some point between them. I am no fan of Webber but I can't believe Horner and Helmut Markko are more annoyed at him rather than Vettel - who I think is to blame.

    I'm Alonso and Sutil fan.
But that what did two Red Bull drivers are definetly Vettels fault, because he hadn't no room to pass Webber but he thought he had and he made a move and result was, you know that already. But we are used to have dramas in F1, it is for now 3 years now been in F1. Little bit spice into challenge and voila
