Tarquini and Dudukalo team-mates again for the 2012 season. Don't know what to think about it, Tarquini belongs to one of the best drivers in the touringcar scene, but Dudukalo didn't show his talent and seems the money seems more important these days.

yes a seat in a seat. silent But I prefer to see, the best drivers though. But we can't do anything about it. With the current financial crisis, it's not logical to have a full works-squad when you'll have to fire people in the factory. See Peugeot right now.

yep, wondering if we will see all the Seat/SR back we had last season.
Hopefully we will get the Engstler-squad back,
    Wiechers sport?
Michelisz? lots of questions, hopefully we will get a bunch of good drivers that will fight for the title, last years Chevy domination made it less interesting to watch. I'm still hoping for more works entries.

Honda: "We have made a decision to enter the WTCC"
Honda's Takanobu Ito has formally announced Honda's intention to enter the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship with the European Honda Civic.
"We have made a decision to enter into the WTCC with the European Civic," said Honda CEO, Takanobu Ito. "We will develop a totally new engine for this project and we are all excited about starting this new challenge."

Honda's Research and Development team is developing a new engine to meet the championship's 1.6 litre turbocharged requirements, whilst engine development partner Mugen will manufacture and maintain it.

JAS Motorsport will develop the race car based on the UK-built five-door Honda Civic.

Honda are in discussions to enter at the tail end of this season, starting with the Japanese marque's home round in Japan, followed by Shanghai, China and Macau, with a two car programme planned full-time for 2013.

with the Focii , this should make it more interesting again........ Cool

oké after seeing the first practice laptimes, it can be said that the Cruze is the best car to have, but that's nothing new. Fast were also Tarquini and Coronel in the 5th session, nothing new on the horizon there too. But I think we will see the real lap-times on Sat/Sun.

some new striking liveries, love the Tarquini car, D'Aste car inspiring too.

New are the orange numbers on both the windscreen as backside windows.
the new style of number at door/fenders were seen at test photos before.

Watched Qualify yesterday and I was amazed by Tarquini pace.. and in the Q1, Chevy team car blocked Tarquini, but it didn't do damage enough.
Wanted to see Hondas on track, but somekind delay from them maybe in next race they will be place. Ford did pretty good qualify.. just narrowed out Q2.

Going to now watch live race 1 and hope to see Chevy being over powered by other cars. Tarquini could win this.

the Honda will only enter in the last three events,
I've watched the first race and must say it was an interesting battle.
Menu and Huff struggle in Lesmo 1. Battle between Muller & Tarquini, and partly Huff. But also a good fight between the independents. The Fords have some issues with the car, their suspension axles are not totally conform the regulations so they have to alter it before Marrakech, now carrying 30 kg extra weight.

Second race was even interesting. Muller drove backwards through the first corner. while Tarquini broke his car suspension or something like that.
At the moment there isn't car what could compete against Cruze.

yes, I agree. not forget the poor pigeon. stars
It looked to me that the tires were of the rims, but the impact on the curb and plate was kinda heavy so something else can be the cause too.

How are those weight things calculated?
How Ford gonna carry extra 30kg next round, they even didn't score points.
