I think the Honda's will be front runners but i hope no manufacturer runs
away with the races like the Chevy's did... Cool

Indeed another year of dominance will harm the series. Although I think if the Chevy's will stay in the championship without the back-up from Chevrolet. The differences will get closer. The problem is the lack of works teams. The Fords are normally in the mid-back of the grid, they seriously need someone (engineer) that can make the cars faster. But we will see what will bring the future.

    WTCC 2013 calendar:

    10/03 ESP TBA*
    24/03 ITA Monza*
    07/04 TBA TBA*
    28/04 SVK Slovakiaring*
    05/05 HUN Hungaroring
    19/05 AUT Salzburgring
    09/06 RUS Moscow Raceway*
    30/06 PRT Porto*
    21/07 BRA Curitiba*
    15/09 USA Sonoma*
    13/10 CHN Shangai*
    27/10 JPN Suzuka
    17/11 MAC Macau*

    Spare dates: 04/08, 25/08
    * Subject to ASN’s confirmation

The third Race is suspected to be hold in Germany from what I've read but I'm unsure if Nürburgring holds it together so maybe Oschersleben or Hockenheim, if anything goes wrong Zandvoort in NL is likely to get it.

will insert the list when FIA officially publish it. Zandvoort is a possibility again as the ADAC GT Masters won't come. Although they are also looking for an international GT championship.

yep, one thing I hated the most, the TV coverage almost focused at the front group. So we won't know if there were some nice battles at the back. Honda was good this weekend, but hopefully get better to score also at permanent racetracks.

Neil Hudson has been posting a few crytic messages on Twitter, apparently the calendar is going to be altered again - no Spanish race but old venue(s) will return, none of them in the UK though. He's also done a blog post about various rumours etc for the next few years:

Also, the ETCC will be supporting at 3 venues - Monza, Slovakia Ring and probably Salzburg. There will then be 2 stand alone events - one in July in Italy, and one on October 6th - probably Brno (personally I think a smaller track would be better suited).

Time will tell, But I hope more manufacturers will join. As Renault wants to compete in 2014.

seems logical if WTCC will be more like TTA and Megane Cup is pretty much alike this already. Though I'm not sure if this high costs can be justified that's why many manufacturers pulled out already. (Chevrolet, BMW, Seat, Alfa Romeo) Without major support from reknown teams it will be hard to have good grids.

Not the best livery/colours for the León, but logical due to the all-ink sponsorship.

The season kicked-off last weekend, lots of rain. So the real speed of the cars were not shown yet. Although the Chevy's at the front as expected. Seat's were good too. In qualify there was huge traffic for a slipstream. Unfortunately Dudukalo ran into Thompson with the result that both cars have much damage and did not compete last weekend. Maybe not all the Lada cars will show up next event.

that's possible too. BMW can't cope with these conditions. Crossed fingers that they will mix in top 10. Honda was very good indeed.
